Jenny Wheeler: Let’s get the geography set. I'm in Auckland, New Zealand. I think you're in California. Where in California? Jan Moran: Yes, I'm in Southern California, Los Angeles and San Diego and over to Palm Springs. That's my area. Jan Moran - 20th century historicals and beach reads Jenny Wheeler: You are a USA Today bestselling author with multiple series, as well as stand out historical fiction and nonfiction to your credit. You are what other people would look at and say is the complete author package, but they always love to know, how did you get started on that road? Jan Moran: I think it began as a child. I was always an avid reader and I began to write as a young girl too. Fast forward a few years, I studied at the University of California in Los Angeles, their writers’ program, and went for my MBA as well.
